1946 Moto Guzzi SUPERALCE

The Alce bike was introduced in 1938, for military use, being replaced in 1943 by the Super Alce.

The 500cc bike, which could run with 90 km/h, was used until 1955, when the Falcone took its place.

I imported this bike in 2010 and it has only done 250kms since. The bike was originally painted red for the Italian Fire Department. It is in good condition.

The carburetor has been changed for a later model Dellorto carby and it is not running correctly. The original SS29 carby needs to be found and fitted.

All other function are running OK.

The bike has been prepared and placed in storage for the last 5 years. All chrome is in excellent condition.

The kms stated in add is only a guess as this model does not have a speedo or klm screen.

Depending on the interest it can be sold as is or can be taken from storage and fitted with new battery, washed, cleaned and have the engine got running.
