This bike has been sitting in a garage for 15 years and hasn’t been started in all that time. 

The first stage in the process is to get the engine going.  This involved stripping the fuel system and cleaning every part of the system.  Replace any worn or corroded parts and then clean every part of the system again. 

We then remove the rocker covers and make sure none of the valves are stuck. 

Drain the oil from the engine and gearbox. 

Replace the oil filter and wind the engine over manually to make sure nothing is stuck. 

Connect the battery and see if she has spark.   Lots of petrol and crank her over.

Advise the customer that we have the engine running and get direction regarding the progression to the next stage.

New ignition system and Coil have been fitted.

Carbies need to be rebuilt. Waiting on parts.
