Honda CB900F2 B Bol Dor

- Before restoration

This motorcycle was brought to us in pieces by its second owner, who lives in the Riverina, where several motorcycle shops have completed many of the tasks required to rebuild a motorcycle.

The engine has been assembled by others, the frame and many parts are painted red.

It has been brought it to us so we can bring it back to its former glory.

It’is now going on 5 years since the bike has been started, and it has been sitting in a garage waiting for some love and attention. This is where we come in.

The customer has brought It to us and has asked us to reassemble the bike and get it up to a registerable standard.

We have to restore the Fairing, fuel tank, side covers, wheels and many other parts.

The engine has had a 1000cc kit installed which needs to be checked and assessed before we can start the engine.

There are many body panels missing and the body panels that we do have are cracked, broken, scratched and covered in dirt.

The comstar mags are in very poor condition and need to be repaired, painted, polished and re-fitted to the bike.

Some jobs have already been completed, however there is still a lot of work to be done.

The customer has given us a budget and we have indicated that this project will take approximately 12 - 16 weeks, or longer, depending on parts.

As with all of our projects, we asked the customer to get involved with sourcing and supplying parts and over the next few weeks we shall develop a shopping list of parts we require.
