NEWCASTLE TOY RUN 2022

The Bikers For Kids Newcastle Toy Run is the oldest and biggest charity run in Australia and represents all that is merry.

It began 45 years ago and starts at Balast Park in Stockton ending at Wickham Park with live music, merchandise for purchase, food, drinks and even more fun!

This year it was on Sunday the 4th of December 2022 to provide local kids and families hope for a brighter future.
COVID-19 has made life difficult for Australians for the last couple of years– even more so for those already facing hardship or struggling to put food on the table. That’s why it’s so important that we pull together as a community to donate toys and raise funds for The Salvation Army Christmas Appeal than ever!

Every toy donated ends up under the Christmas tree of a child or teenager in need who would otherwise go without on Christmas morning.
Being a part of this fantastic community event is an honour and privilege that can’t be passed up and so Classic Motorcycle Restorations are involved. Owner Graeme has participated in this event for 30 years, and along with the 10,000 motorbikes of all shapes and sizes, lead by Santa’s Sleigh, this event was a winner.

It was an incredible display of costumes and generosity as they made their way to Wickham Park loaded with toys and Christmas cheer!
It was a fabulous Family Day, with lots of happy faces and excited children. There was so much to do, see and get involved with, from face painting & kids rides to market stalls, food trucks & live music.

Mother nature laid on clear weather and a great day was had by all.
