1996 Triumph Trophy 900

 

This bike has been sitting for 10 years in a shed in Mudgee.

The customer wants us to get the engine going first.

Then we clean and paint, add new tyres, new chain and sprockets. 

This is expected to take up to 12 weeks.

Week 1.

Broken starter spragg clutch.  Parts not available so we shall have to search the net to find new parts.

UPDATE 7.7.2021

We are waiting for a new sprag clutch to come from the UK.  We have found a good fuel tank which we shall fit.

When the sprag clutch arrives we can get the engine going.ake it stand out.

UPDATE 11.8.2021

The bike now has a new sprag clutch fitted.  We had to search the world for the correct part and it is expensive.

It has been fitted with new tyres

We have completed the service and have removed the carbies and cleaned them.  The engine is now running sweetly.

We have advised the customer of our progress and he is now talking of paint work.

UPDATE:

this is now complete and has now been picked up by the owner.
